We are seeking a highly skilled Lead .NET Developer and Support Specialist to join our team at SaskEnergy in Regina, SK.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our company's applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role will also involve providing exceptional support to our team members and collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and address technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality .NET applications, following best practices and industry standards
  • Provide expert-level technical support to team members, addressing complex issues and providing guidance on software development and deployment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality and security
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers
  • Work closely with other teams to identify and prioritize tasks, ensuring seamless project delivery
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognized bachelor's degree or technical diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience with C# .NET, Java, and Visual Studio
  • Proven skills in database scripting using SQL Server 2012 or higher and Oracle 10g or higher
  • Experience with modern Web APIs (REST & SOAP) and IIS
  • Development experience using Angular, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
