Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist in Downtown Toronto. As a member of our interprofessional team, you will provide specialized care to individuals with ostomies, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal continence concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate treatment recommendations in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
  • Develop a plan of care based on the holistic assessment for clients who require wound, ostomy, and/or continence care.
  • Evaluate the plan of care, involving the Wound Ostomy Resource Nurse (WORN) and/or K2P Wound Care Resource Nurses (K2P WCRN) as appropriate.
  • Provide education and mentorship experiences to build wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge and capacity within SE Health.
Requirements
  • Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program completion or international certification approval.
  • Flexibility and commitment to advancing wound, ostomy, and continence care at SE Health.
  • A willingness to participate in further education programs/courses to remain current.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of community health care preferred.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
