Job Description

We are currently seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses with expertise in wound care management to join our team. As a Registered Nurse at VHA, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote wound healing and prevent further complications
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care provided
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or wound care management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wound care principles and practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development
