About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) at Lenovo. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for our Cloud Based Servers, IoT Servers, and Enterprise Servers. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering a premium UEFI offering for each of these critical and growing market segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and test embedded firmware for our servers
  • Manage and maintain firmware build tools, manage builds, and release firmware to test
  • Recreate and fix problems reported by the test team
  • Collaborate with software engineers to write, debug, and test firmware
  • Provide customer support for technical issues

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in Embedded Firmware/Software Development
  • At least 8 years of experience with the C programming language
  • At least 8 years of experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • At least 2 years of experience with Git source version control system
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
