Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Labourer to join our team at Custom Farm Service Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop maintenance, farm equipment operation, and general farm labour. This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks related to crop maintenance, including hoeing, weeding, and harvesting crops.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts.
  • Tie and secure plants.
  • Harvest crops.
Work Environment:

The General Labourer will work in a fast-paced farm environment with a focus on crop maintenance and farm equipment operation. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and be able to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train.
