Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Labourer to join our team at Custom Farm Service Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop maintenance, farm equipment operation, and general farm labour. This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health.
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts.
  • Tie and secure plants.
  • Weeding.
  • Harvest crops.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
