We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Labourer to join our team at Custom Farm Service Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop maintenance, farm equipment operation, and general labour duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crop Maintenance: Apply the technique of hoeing between rows, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, tie and secure plants, and weed.
  • Farm Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • General Labour Duties: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities, assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
