Overview

The Lead, System Strategy, Planning, Design and Implementation plays a critical role in shaping the future of mental health services in Ontario. Reporting to the Director, System Strategy, Planning, Design and Implementation, this position serves as a mental health and substance use health resource to the Ontario Health North West program areas.

About the Role

  • Assists in the identification and implementation of planning and development methodologies to support members on the health system planning and integration team.
  • Manages complex planning projects and initiatives related to mental health and substance use health programs and services.
  • Provides advice and input from the planning perspective to the development of health-care system funding plans and manages project plans and budget allocation for planning and integration activities.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify emerging issues in the community that require a planning/development response.

What You'll Need

  • Post-secondary education in health administration, health planning, business administration or a related field with Master's level degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a healthcare environment.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience in mental health and substance use health services.

Salary Range

$95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
