As a Behaviour Interventionist, you will play a crucial role in implementing programs designed by our senior clinical team to help clients acquire new skills and overcome challenging behaviors.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to provide engaging and positive experiences for our clients. You will be responsible for implementing evidence-based programs, using systematic methods and behavioral strategies to support clients in changing their behavior.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing programs based on best practices
  • Using systematic methods and behavioral strategies to support clients in changing their behavior
  • Contributing to the development of programs established by the clinical team to teach and reinforce a variety of skills for children and youth in a 1:1 and/or small group setting

You will also have opportunities to adapt to changing conditions and provide creative solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years experience working with children and youth with complex needs and/or developmental disabilities
  • Pursuing or completed education in Psychology, Speech or Linguistics, Occupational Therapy, or Kinesiology
  • Education and demonstrated ability in ethical and professional practice
