Job Title: Contract Manager

EBC Inc. is a leading infrastructure development company that excels in delivering complex projects on time and within budget. We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement contract compliance processes to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage change management procedures to mitigate risks and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Oversee claims mitigation strategies to minimize financial losses.
  • Manage the claims process from initiation to resolution.
  • Negotiate change orders, variations, and change issues with stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate contractual correspondence with clients and vendors.
  • Oversee pricing of change and delay issues to ensure fair compensation.
  • Manage the preparation of narratives and entitlement documentation for claims.
  • Oversee the identification and tracking of contract and deliverables to ensure project completion.
  • Implement record-keeping procedures to validate potential changes and ensure compliance.
  • Train staff on contract processes and procedures to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law and regulations.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in major change/claims management or dispute resolution issues in a major project.
  • Excellent command of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and BlueBeam.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Bilingualism, French and English, is an asset.
