Job Description

At EBC Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Project Coordinator. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects across Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of technical issues in plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and project scheduling.
  • Obtain necessary permits and authorizations for construction projects.
  • Plan and check material orders as needed.
  • Assist in the development of construction methods and processes, ensuring that they meet contractual requirements and current health and safety standards.
  • Participate in site meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Follow up and manage deficiencies at the end of projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, in progress.
  • Relevant experience in engineering or construction is an asset.
  • Driver's license and/or ability to travel may be required in some cases.
  • Agrees to work 8 months on site (Campbell River).
