Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a part-time permanent position with 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide excellent patient care and support to families in the NICU. Key responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, assessing patient health, and providing education and prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification (obtained within 3 months of employment)
  • STABLE certificate (obtained within 6 months of hire)
  • 1 year of experience in neonatal nursing in a community setting
