Project Manager - Urban Planning and Design

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the required quality standards, and that all project documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of project management best practices, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on urban planning and design.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Asana, Trello, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
