We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1343863 BC Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality standards
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates
    • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
    • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth
    • Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek.
