Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at Advanced Care & Education Daycare Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of educational programs for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Support
    • Assess children's developmental needs and create personalized learning plans to promote their growth and development.
    • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging activities that foster children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Program Support
    • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, including the upkeep of daycare equipment.
    • Support early childhood educators in record-keeping and data management.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive environment.
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
    • Exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy in working with children and families.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in early childhood education.
  • Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English is required.
