Job Title: Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at ACE Daycare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our early childhood program.

Responsibilities:
  • Child Development: Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans that cater to their unique needs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the daycare equipment is well-maintained and safe for children to use.
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Creative Activities: Encourage children's creativity through art, music, and physical activities.
  • Storytelling and Crafts: Engage children in storytelling, teach songs, and prepare crafts to promote learning and development.
  • Personal Care: Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements:
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey information and ideas.
  • Interpersonal Awareness: Strong interpersonal awareness to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English language proficiency.
  • Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
