About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team at AtwoZ Renos Inc. As a Marble Setter, you will be responsible for installing marble and granite surfaces in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with marble or granite.
  • Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Obstacle Cutting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Grout Application: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Tile Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Mosaic Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Underbed Installation: Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Material Estimation: Estimate costs and materials for each project.
  • Terra Surface Installation: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Tile Strip Installation: Install tile strips.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including dusty and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
