WordPress Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team at Caredocs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, with a focus on WordPress, and be capable of creating visually appealing and functional websites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing and functional.
  2. Theme and Template Customization: Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  3. Performance Optimization: Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance, including speed and load times.
  4. Plugin Integration and Development: Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed, and develop custom plugins to enhance website functionality.
  5. Content Management: Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, ensuring it is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
  6. Security and Maintenance: Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats, and perform regular website backups and updates.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility, and familiarity with responsive web design principles.
  3. Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
