Key Responsibilities
  • Building, updating, and maintaining responsive websites
  • Collaborating closely with digital strategists, SEO specialists, and designers
  • Understanding client requirements and translating them into proper UX and UI functionality
  • Coding and managing custom MySQL databases and queries
  • Configuring and customizing WordPress, WP plugins, and integrating with other tools
  • Creating custom shortcodes, widget areas, and custom post types within WordPress
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of experience in WordPress-based website development and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of W3C web design/coding standards
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with building/customizing eCommerce websites using Elementor, WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, Divi Builder, and Fusion Builder
  • Ability to build a WordPress theme
  • Experience in site speed optimization
