Job Summary

KYND International is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Psych RN in our 32-bed facility. As a Psych RN, you will provide professional nursing care to children and adolescents, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the United States
  • Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)
  • Obtain ACLS and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire
