Unlocking Efficiency in Global Mining Operations
Woodgrove Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mineral Processing Expert to join our team. As a key player in optimizing flotation circuits, conducting pilot plant studies globally, and providing expert metallurgical support during onsite commissioning, you will play a leadership role in driving performance improvements.
About the Role:
- Analyze and interpret complex metallurgical and operational data to inform strategic decisions.
- Design and execute test campaigns for flotation circuits and mineral processing plants, ensuring optimal results.
- Lead pilot plant campaigns both remotely and onsite, overseeing project goals and outcomes.
- Mentor junior metallurgical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Commission mineral processing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and optimize flotation circuit flowsheets and overall mineral processing designs, leveraging expertise in start-up, commissioning, and optimization.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, manuals, specifications, PFDs, mass balances, and P&IDs.
- Participate in R&D initiatives to advance new technologies and processes, driving business growth and competitiveness.
- Travel to global mineral processing sites (30-40% travel) to lead commissioning and optimization projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional engineering designation (e.g., P.Eng.), an asset.
- 8+ years of experience in mineral processing, with a significant focus on flotation.
- Proven expertise in start-up, commissioning, and optimization of mineral processing plants.
- Strong experience with pilot plant operations, including design and execution of complex campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
- In-depth mineral processing knowledge, particularly in flotation and plant optimization.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, an asset.
