Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Aide to join our team at Stella Chokron. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
  • Perform laundry and linen services, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, adhering to clients' preferences and needs
  • Administer medication, as required, and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care team
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
