Automotive Service Director

At Otto's Service Centre Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily performance, and planning and organizing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Evaluate daily performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily activities, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
- Manage staff and assign duties, ensuring that each team member is working towards common goals.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implementing pricing and credit policies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that the service department operates within budget.
- Determine staffing requirements, recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing a service department, with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
