About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a collaborative and diverse approach to business. As an Air Import Coordinator, you will be responsible for smooth transactions by utilizing our vast worldwide network for a designated client base. Your key responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, assisting with import/export operations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and complaints, with special attention to key assigned accounts.
  • Support the import/export operation (air, ocean, freight, and sales) and ensure accurate processing of paperwork to minimize errors.
  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly reports as requested by management and customers.
  • Supply shipment information for import/export customers and assist the sales department in negotiating rates and quotes for services.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, update/input details of shipments in the system, and ensure accuracy for billing.
  • Coordinate shipments and send pre-alert notices to customers and related departments as required.
  • Collaborate with the division/department manager to maintain the company's ISO Policies.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to overall objectives for the terminal.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures and report any unsafe activities to supervisors or Human Resources.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two to four years of related experience and/or training in a field such as logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Formal academic training in a related field, such as CITT or CIFFA, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record-keeping, database activity, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
