Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the Verve Quality Improvement (VQI) program to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Distribute medications as per resident medication times and perform treatments to all residents who require them.
- Make assessments regarding changes in a resident's condition and update resident care plans accordingly.
- Complete all medication, treatment, and incidental charting for residents on the nursing unit.
- Facilitate communication with all nursing staff regarding care or concerns that have arisen during the shift.
- Initiate referrals to interdisciplinary team members as needed.
- Work closely with and facilitate interactions between departments to ensure the best possible care and service is provided to residents.
- Recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) and good standing.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, and MDS/RAI).
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse.
- Experience working within a union setting.
