We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team at NorWest Community Health Centres. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range of $175,000-$225,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals and families in our community health centres. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including medical services, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine medical care to patients, including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Work with patients to develop personalized care plans, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements
  • Degree in medicine from a recognized university
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Canada
  • Experience working in primary care, preferably in a community health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
