We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful contribution to the healthcare sector.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing medication orders, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Process medication orders in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription histories
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Grade 12 education and completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
