As a Pharmacist - Patient Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our pharmacy team, working closely with our healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
  • Stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry, leveraging new medications and clinical opportunities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Offer private consultations to patients, fostering a patient-centered care culture and building trust within our community.
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening, to support the well-being of our patients.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification, ensuring you're equipped to administer vaccinations and other medications safely and effectively.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll, to streamline operations and enhance patient care.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required, demonstrating your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required, making informed decisions to support patient care.
  • Additional training or certifications considered an asset, as we continue to evolve and improve our services.
