Job Summary

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to assist with the administration, scheduling, development, marketing, and promotion of arts classes, programs, exhibits, performances, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of arts programs and services, including scheduling, marketing, and promotion.
  • Develop and implement arts programs and services, including classes, workshops, and events.
  • Collaborate with community groups, artists, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver arts programs and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a college or university arts-related studies program and/or practicing in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of practicing and/or teaching experience in a related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local arts community and ability to develop and implement arts programs and services.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Language Requirements
