About the Role:


We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team at the National Arts Centre. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a vital role in the tactical execution of marketing plans designed to enhance local and national exposure and maximize revenue for our artistic discipline productions and initiatives.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:



  • Assisting with the development and lead the tactical execution of marketing campaigns that raise awareness and drive attendance;
  • Coordinating selected initiatives and activations and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track;
  • Supporting a data-driven approach by tracking and analyzing key performance metrics;
  • Contributing to creating inspiring and consistent brand narratives, helping to craft creative content, promotional materials and stories that resonate with different audiences;
  • Coordinating the collection and managing the digital storage of audio, visual and written assets to ensure easy access for other stakeholders and future marketing initiatives;
  • Supporting the team in tracking expenses and managing project budgets to ensure adherence to budgetary obligations;
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments on various duties to bring marketing initiatives to life;
  • Attending NAC shows and events to connect with patrons, gather insights, and foster relationships that enhance audience engagement.

Requirements:



  • Post secondary diploma/degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications role or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Fluency in both official languages is required;
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and French, including ability to create and edit copy for promotional materials;
  • Experience in marketing or communication campaign execution and analysis;
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, adapt to various roles as needed, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking;
  • Experience managing campaign expenses;
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (Teams), PowerPoint, Excel and social media platforms.
