The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As the Director of Financial and Administrative Management, you will oversee the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, management accounting, and monthly and annual financial statements. You will also implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with management, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, management accounting, and monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Canadian standards
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and present financial analyses, including variance analyses and performance indicators, to support management decisions
  • Manage cash flow and ensure availability of funds necessary for operations
  • Lead the accounting, finance, and payroll teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Set annual objectives and performance criteria for team members and participate in recruiting and training
  • Contribute to the overall strategy of Tessier and Boréal by integrating financial dimensions, including ROI, working capital management, and the assessment of acquisition and development opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of experience in a finance and administration leadership role within medium to large organizations. A CPA designation or equivalent qualifications is also required.
