Overview:

Church & Dwight Canada is seeking a seasoned E-commerce Team Lead to drive the development and expansion of business relationships with key retailer partners in the e-commerce channel.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and a proven track record in e-commerce sales, strong leadership skills, demonstrated competency in negotiations, and the ability to drive performance through strategic planning.

  • Develop account-level strategic vision and business plans for e-commerce to achieve Church & Dwight's channel development and profitability ambitions.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team to successfully achieve individual and team goals. Set clear goals and performance metrics for team members and provide regular feedback and support.
  • Oversee key accounts at all levels and develop relationships that enable achievement of plans. Drive best-in-class partnerships as a leading trading partner with retailers and lead key negotiations.
  • Support the cohesive execution of Church & Dwight's digital marketing strategies in collaboration with digital/e-commerce marketing.
  • Manage the customer profit and loss (P&L) to gross margin, with emphasis on delivering quotas assigned across gross sales, trade spend, net sales, and gross margin.
  • Develop and reinforce best practices that support team enablement of forecast accuracy, supply chain optimization, consumption growth, and other cross-functional goals.
  • Work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders and functions to identify, develop, and execute strategic plans.
  • Drive e-commerce capabilities enhancements, including new tools and best practices, in alignment with Church & Dwight's e-commerce development strategy.
  • Collaborate with international Church & Dwight partners on e-commerce best practice sharing, opportunities, and common work streams.
  • Act as a leader internally on the sharing and development of e-commerce knowledge, best practices, and overall integration of e-business at Church & Dwight.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to keep the team informed and competitive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital, ideally within consumer packaged goods, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience working with Amazon is required.
  • Strong understanding of and curiosity to remain an expert in the digital space, including the retailer environment, digital marketing, online sales strategies, and tech advancements.
  • Position requires an individual to have a thorough understanding of business financials and solid presentation experience to executive-level personnel internally and externally.
  • Strong strategic negotiation skills and influence-based selling skills.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills, preferably with JBP experience.
  • Proven ability to transform insights and data into actionable, customer-relevant plans.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and syndicated POS data.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
