Food Service Manager

MIGA Japanese and Korean Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting business objectives.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Parking available on site.
- Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
