Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, toilets, water coolers, ice machines, and other equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair chilled water, hot water, and glycol coils in air handling units, hot water heating equipment, and water treatment piping systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair patient care-related plumbing equipment and fixtures, such as sterilizers, water-cooled machinery, and macerators.
  • Replace washers, faucets, and broken pipes to ensure optimal water flow and pressure.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on fire suppression sprinkler systems, lawn sprinklers, and plumbing fixtures to prevent damage and ensure safety.
  • Clear drainage piping, including glass, PVC, and cast iron pipes, and repair or replace fixtures and fittings as needed.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as required and assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Certificate of Qualification for Plumber, ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Minimum: Must be physically able to perform the job, demonstrated technical skills.
