About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professional to lead our team at Hukkam Construction Ltd. As an OHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assign projects to subordinates related to work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention.
  • Daily Operations: Direct and control daily operations, including planning and controlling budget and expenditures.
  • Training and Development: Provide information/training to employers, employees, and the general public on OHS policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conduct surveys and monitoring programs of the natural environment, and establish and implement policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, employers, and the general public.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to relocate, with steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and mask required for job duties.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,001 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide parking availability and a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
