Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Advance Pallet & Crate Ltd.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated salary of $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
  • You will be responsible for providing information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on health and safety regulations.
  • Your duties will include establishing and implementing policies and procedures, inspecting workplaces for safety hazards, investigating accidents, and developing health and safety plans.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and inspecting products and processing methods.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, as well as provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous people.
