Job Title: Sanitation Operator-Washer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Operator-Washer to join our team at Première Moisson in Baie d'Urfé. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out housekeeping tasks in various departments, equipment, and machines, adhering to established procedures.
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment according to washing and sanitizing programs.
  • Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including cleaning steps according to washing and sanitizing procedures.
  • Inspect cleaned equipment and report any non-conformities to ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Ensure the proper condition and operation of all equipment and work tools used in washing and sanitizing operations.
  • Communicate equipment non-conformities to immediate supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in food safety (an asset).
  • Training in cleaning and sanitation (an asset).
  • Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset).
  • Physical fitness to perform manual work.
  • Vigilance, reliability, and autonomy.
  • Ability to communicate orally in French or English.
  • Initiative, team spirit, and ability to pass it on.
  • Good manual dexterity.
