Job Summary

Boulangerie Première Moisson is seeking a skilled Sanitation Operator-Washer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, and adhering to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industrial Cleaning
    • Assemble and disassemble equipment according to washing and sanitizing programs
    • Carry out cleaning steps according to washing and sanitizing procedures for equipment and workplaces
    • Inspect cleaned equipment and report any non-conformities with a view to taking the necessary corrective action, and follow up on corrections
    • Ensure the proper condition and operation of all equipment and work tools used in washing and sanitizing operations
    • Communicate any equipment non-conformity to immediate supervisor
    • Perform various sanitation-related tasks
  • Health & Safety
    • Maintain work tools and report any functional problems to the supervisor
    • Ensure compliance with the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area
    • Compliance with rules and regulations
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma (DES)
    • (1) to (3) years' experience in food safety (an asset)
    • Training in cleaning and sanitation (an asset)
    • Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset)
    • Must be physically fit to perform manual work
    • Be vigilant, reliable, and autonomous
    • Ability to communicate orally in French or English
    • Have a sense of initiative/team spirit and be able to pass it on
    • Good manual dexterity
