Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including assembling and disassembling equipment according to washing and sanitizing programs
  • Carry out cleaning steps according to established procedures for equipment and workplaces
  • Inspect cleaned equipment and report any non-conformities to ensure corrective action is taken
  • Ensure the proper condition and operation of all equipment and work tools used in washing and sanitizing operations
  • Communicate equipment non-conformities to immediate supervisors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (DES)
  • 1-3 years' experience in food safety (an asset)
  • Training in cleaning and sanitation (an asset)
  • Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset)
  • Must be physically fit to perform manual work
  • Be vigilant, reliable, and autonomous
  • Ability to communicate orally in French or English
  • Have a sense of initiative/team spirit and be able to pass it on
  • Good manual dexterity

Salary: $20.50/hr (starting) / $21.50/hr (after 3 months)

Premiums: Evening: $0.75/h / Night Shift: $1.50/h / Weekend: $1.00/h
