Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Manager to join our team in the Hospitality Services department.

Job Description:

The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for planning and executing high-profile events for executive clients across all areas of Scotiabank, including the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 events per year, providing expert advice to executive clients on event planning and execution.
  • Develop strong relationships with frequent clients to ensure exceptional customer service and meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver events that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Analyze event data to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to the enhancement of our event management services.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Hospitality or Event Management from a reputable university or college, with at least 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality events within budget and timeframes.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other event management software.
