Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Velma's House. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals accessing our safe space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals accessing Velma's House
  • Foster positive relationships with participants and staff
  • Track and maintain accurate statistics
  • Plan and implement relevant workshops and programming
  • Assist with system navigation and goal setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge of strict consent and confidentiality policies
  • Execute organizational safety protocols and incident reports

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting marginalized communities and has experience working in a similar role.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $21-$25/hour, plus shift premiums, and a part-time schedule of 20+ hours/week.
