Vintage Hotels is seeking a skilled Banquet Captain to lead our team at the Prince of Wales location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service and meet established sales goals.
- Lead the setup and service of function spaces, both in-house and off-site.
- Manage the service of each function, ensuring seamless execution.
- Tear down functions, ensuring all equipment is returned to its proper place.
- Ensure all cutlery is polished and supply and equipment areas are clean and organized.
- Work closely with Conference Services and Special Events Managers to execute event details.
- Prepare final billing for events, including required back-up charges.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- 1-2 years serving experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Knowledge of Maestro an asset
- Previous up-selling and/or sales experience considered an asset
