Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lawlor Enterprises Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts.
