We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Church\u0027s Chicken. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes. You will also be responsible for baking mixed dough and batters, scheduling staff, inspecting kitchen and food service areas, and organizing and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Schedule staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a baking or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
The Baker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
