Social Worker, BSW

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide psychosocial/emotional assessment and therapeutic clinical counselling services to clients in the assigned clinical areas. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial/emotional assessments of clients using a variety of modalities and in accordance with professional standards and clinical policies and practices.
Provide basic therapeutic clinical counselling services to clients based on a psychosocial assessment.
Educate and provide consultation to clients and healthcare professionals on issues related to Social Work practice and area of clinical specialty.
Maintain client records by documenting client assessments, charting client information, and preparing progress notes and reports in accordance with established professional/organizational standards, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an approved school of Social Work plus one year recent, related clinical experience.
Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW).
