About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Fraser Health. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing psychosocial/emotional assessment and therapeutic clinical counselling services to clients in our assigned clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial/emotional assessments of clients using various modalities and in accordance with professional standards and clinical policies and practices.
- Provide basic therapeutic clinical counselling services to clients based on a psychosocial assessment.
- Develop and implement care plans that promote improved psychosocial/emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and community agencies to provide education and consultation on social work practice and clinical specialty areas.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and discharge planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an approved school of Social Work.
- Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW).
- One year recent, related clinical experience.
