Customer Service Representative

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join its growing member service team. This is a term position that requires a candidate who is a team player, thorough, conscientious and attentive to detail to ensure quality work or service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service;
  • Collect and process mail and correspondence;
  • Enter, edit, and verify financial and personal data of plan members;
  • Prepare correspondence and documents using form letters;
  • Data entry and verification of new membership forms;
  • File and maintain member records;
  • Prepare items for mailing and distribution.

Requirements:

  • One-year office education course or equivalent experience;
  • Knowledge of office/administrative procedures, computer applications, arithmetic principles, and office equipment;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Typically works in a standard office environment;
  • May be required to work in a team environment;
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
