Maintenance Engineering Lead - Mechanical

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Lead to join our team at J&T MACHINE KNIFE INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical system design and operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Investigate and resolve mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Plan and manage projects to upgrade or replace mechanical equipment, and prepare estimates and reports as required
  • Supervise and mentor technicians and engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including design, operation, and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
