We are seeking a well-rounded Registered Nurse to provide care to seniors in long-term care facilities or in their homes and other community settings.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of care, including training and leadership of Licensed Practical Nurses and CCAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
- Administer direct nursing care and plan Resident care in consultation from the multidisciplinary care team.
- Administering and recording prescribed medication.
Additional Responsibilities in Home Care:
- Diabetes management
- Dialysis
- IV medications
- Palliative care
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care
Requirements:
- Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
