**Job Summary**

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide comprehensive resident care, taking into consideration their physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological health needs. The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care within the LPN Scope of Practice.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess and address resident health needs, providing holistic care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring resident-centered care.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Resident Care Workers, providing guidance and direction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of resident care and services.

**Requirements**

  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province.
  • Successful completion of a recognized Practical Nursing Program, including pharmacology, health assessment, and medication administration.
  • Certification in Safe Resident Handling.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
